It has been long known that the Kansas City Royals are nothing but a
bunch of pathetic losers. During the past 15 years or so, they have
almost always been even worse than the stupid Cubs. The reason for this
is the team’s incredibly poor management and also the fact that KC is an
overrated city with not much more than BBQ dens and steakhouses to brag
about. Kansas City is literally the Armpit of America.

Not only is KC the metropolis an icky place to live, but the people who
stoop to the level of living in KC are basically a bunch of pathetic
losers as well. They constantly give up on their baseball team and their
giving up is infectious to the players as well.

There is a persistent myth about the White Sox these days. It holds that the team has been miraculously transformed from a losing "corpseball" team under former manager Jerry Manuel into a winning "smallball" team under new manager Ozzie Guillen. Nothing could be further from the truth.

According to those in the news media elsewhere who claim that Guillen has changed the team for the better, Ozzie has made the Sox into a base-stealing outfit. However, neither of the 2 leading base theifs on the team, Juan Uribe (4 successful steals in 6 attempts) and Willy Harris (3 out of 5 attempts successful) have succeeded in having a minimal 70% success rate. This is important since a stealing base artist needs at least a 70% rate if his efforts are to be a plus for the team. The team as a whole has a grand total of 20 Stolen Bases, 9 times Caught Stealing and 4 pick-offs. In other words, 20 SB's for 13 outs. That's well below the70% threshold.

Ozzie is trying to have slow players steal bases and that just makes no sense whatsoever.

Truly, Ozzie Guillen is a buffoon.........
